Michael takes on the Caliente Cardio Interval Circuit, a grueling treadmill workout. And you can bet that he's feeling that burn.
Start with a light warm-up walk on the treadmill for two to five minutes. Follow up with toe-touches, neck rotations and leg stretches.
The Workout
The key to this one is going at a slower pace for one minute, ratcheting it up for one minute, then continuing to switch between the two.
Your core speed will be 3.2. Your higher speed will start at 4.8, and every time you come back to it, turn it up by 0.2. Once you reach 5.4, come back to 3.2, then your workout is complete.
Afterwards, stretch it out as usual.
Two Lower Back Stretch Tips
1st: Lie down flat on the mat, arms extended. Bend your knees, then pull your left knee towards your chest. During this, straighten out your right leg. Now, reverse the legs.
2nd: Get a 10-to-30 lb. hand weight. Bend over and slowly lift it off the floor with both hands, straightening up. Lower it as low as possible for three seconds, then lift it. Repeat this four times.
